Where are you located?


We surf out in front of Belmont Park at a Mission Beach. Our address is 3146 Mission Blvd., we are located on the sand This is located on the beach in front of the Beach House Grill. To find us look for our Club Aqua Flags and the Club Aqua rentals set up in the sand.




I am affraid of sharks, do I need to be worried?


No, sharks are not a concern. We understand the fear, but it is highly improbable to see a shark, let alone be attacked by one. Statistically speaking, you are more likely to be struck by lightning twice or hit on the head by a coconut than you are to be attacked by a shark. The area we take our students surfing is over reef where an adult human can stand with their head and shoulders above water. These shallow waters are not where sharks tend to be found or even like to swim as they like to stay further out in deeper waters. Sharks will also not attack a human on purpose as we are not a food source that they are interested in which is why it is very rare to be attacked.




I wear contact lenses/glasses, can I wear them on the water?


You are certainly able to wear contact lenses, but we do not recommend wearing prescription glasses. You can lose your contact lenses in the water, but as long as you keep your eyes closed underwater it is not a huge risk. You may wear prescription goggles. If you cannot see well without your glasses it is okay, you can stillrent.




How old do I have to be to rent?


Renters must be over the age of 18. Minors under 18 must be accompanied by an adult




Do I need to make a reservation?


San Diego is busy year round, so to guarantee we will have your rentals you must reserve it online




Do you offer a day or weekly rate for rentals?


Our beach chairs, surfboards, bodyboards, and stand up paddleboards are rented on a daily basis, unfortunately we do not rent on a weekly basis.




Do you offer delivery?


Our beach chairs and watersports rentals are located on the beach, just steps away from the water. For that reason, there is no need for delivery!




Do I need to know how to swim?


For any rental equipment, children and adults who have not learned to swim or are uncomfortable in the water, we recommend, for their safety, not to use the equipment.




Can I cancel my rental?


Yes, you can and as long as it’s more than 48 hours before your pickup time, you can cancel without penalty. If you cancel within 48 hours of your rental time or fail to pickup the reserved equipment on the date you’ve agreed to, your account will be charged a one-hour rental fee per item reserved. Do you have parking?


Surrounding parking lots are open and free to park in.
